What are the registration fees?

  • Early registration ends Friday, August 26th.
  • No refunds after September 14th.

How do I secure my hotel room?

  • Once you have registered for The Convention, you will receive a confirmation of your registration via email. That email will contain the link to make hotel accommodations with Amway Grand Plaza Hotel under the group rate. The group rate is $169++ per night, based on availability.

Does my spouse/guest pay the same registration fee?

That will depend. If they will be participating in all convention events or are an industry professional, yes, they pay the full registration rates. Guest passes are available starting at $90 prior to the event. These passes are valid for attending the social events only if they are not in the real estate industry. Passes will be $110 on-site if available.

Can I register online?

Yes! All registrations must be completed online. Click the Register button at the top of the page to get started.

Can I register once I arrive at The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel & DeVos Place?

Yes! We have happy to offer on-site registration beginning at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, September 21st.

Once you arrive at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel please navigate to the Center Concourse on the 2nd floor. At this location you will find registration, badge pick-up, and other important event materials. Name badges are REQUIRED for ALL functions and will be monitored. Registration is required to attend any and all events. Badges are not transferable.

What does the registration fee include?

The full registration fee will include all The Convention program activities with the exception of recreational activities or some invitation only events. This includes the Welcome Reception, Expo, knowledge sessions, Grand Assembly, networking breaks, lunch in the Expo on Thurssday, Happy Hour in the Expo, Realtor® Royale and many opportunities for networking.

Do you have a mobile friendly schedule?

Absolutely! You can view the complete schedule on any mobile device through our event app [click here to download] or through your web browser.

Is there an event app?

Yes! Search "Michigan Realtors®" on the App Store to download now!

Why should I download the app?

In addition to the agenda and connecting with other event attendees you can receive special event updates in real time, complete session surveys and view information about our fabulous sponsors and exhibitors! Bonus: This app will be used for all Michigan Realtors® events!

Where do the events take place?

All events are held at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel & DeVos Place. Specific room locations may be found in the schedule at-a-glance on-site and on the mobile schedule.

What are the refund and cancellation policies?

Early registration ends Friday, August 26, 2022. Full refunds granted in requests are received by August 26, 2022. Cancellations between August 27, 2022, and September 14, 2022, are subject to a $40 administration fee. Refunds after September 14, 2022 are not given. Registrations are nontransferable.

I can’t come to The Convention after all. Can someone take my place?

Registrations are non-transferrable. However, under certain extenuating circumstances an exception may be made. Please contact Michigan Realtors® staff if you need to make a request for a transfer at 517-372-8890.

What is the attire?

Enjoy The Convention in business casual attire. Remember meeting space can vary in temperature so dress in layers for optimal comfort. Pack your comfortable shoes and prepare to get your steps in! As you travel home, we know comfort is key. Friday is casual day; rock your jeans and favorite Realtor® tee!

Who attends?

The Convention is the premier real estate education and trade show in the state of Michigan attended by agents, brokers, and appraisers in the residential and commercial areas who want to advance professionally. On average, over 1,100 attends.

All nominations much be received by 5pm of Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

What are the Registration Terms?

  • Early registration ends Friday, August 26, 2022. Full refunds granted if received by August 26, 2022. Cancellation between August 27, 2022, and September 14, 2022, are subject to a $40 administrative fee. Refunds after September 14, 2022 are not given. Registrations are nontransferable.
  • * The introductory rate for first-time attendees will be verified from past convention attendance records. If attended previously, full rate applies and will be charged. First timer rate is nontransferable.
  • **Registration as a guest for The Convention is confirming that you do not hold a real estate or appraiser license and that you are not involved in the real estate industry. Those who falsely register as a guest are subject to cancellation or registration without a refund.
  • ***Additional Exhibitor Registrations provide admittance to events held in the expo only.
  • By registering for a Michigan Realtors® event, I understand that still or motion pictures may be taken of me while attending the event and give permission for images to be used to promote Michigan Realtors® events. Such images will remain the property of Michigan Realtors®.

What is the Event Conduct Policy?

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and with good judgment and common sense. Michigan Realtors® aims to provide a safe event experience for all attendees and does not tolerate inappropriate behavior or harassment in any form. If you feel threatened or harassed while attending a Michigan Realtors® event, you are encouraged to report the incident directly to police via 911. Attendees who violate this Event Conduct Policy may be asked to leave the event without a refund. In addition, the attendee may not be permitted to participate in future Michigan Realtors® events.
